- Barbara is Japanese/Brazilian.
- Barbara is the third Japanese representative in a row to have placed 4th; the others being Sofia Wakabayashi (C1), and Marie Nakagawa (C2).
- Behind Amanda, Barbara has the record for the most bottom two appearances during cycle 3, at three times.
- Barbara is the only contestant who has finished in 4th place to not have a single first call-out. She is also the second furthest placing contestant after Stephanie Retuya to not have one best photo.
- Barbara was one of the oldest contestants at 27. She was the same age as 8th placing contestant Melissa Tan. They are the oldest contestants in the series' history, along with Jee Choi (C1), and Bona Kometa (C2).
- Her favorite models are Kiko Mizuhara and Alessandra Ambrosio. They are from Japan and Brazil respectively, and Barbara is both Japanese and Brazilian.
- She was born in Brazil, and moved to Japan at five years old. Prior to the show, she moved to Taiwan.
